ArtsUnited Features Photographer Carlos Eduardo in Solo Exhibit
ArtsUnited will feature the photography of Carlos Eduardo in a solo exhibit at the Stonewall Library and Archives from April 3 through 28, 2006. The Stonewall Library and Archives is located at 1717 North Andrews Avenue in Fort Lauderdale. Admission is free to the public.
Carlos Eduardo was born in 1965 and was raised in the South Florida city of Coral Gables. A graduate of Florida International University with a degree in Management, Mr. Eduardo always knew that would be a way to earn a living, but would not fulfill his creative aspirations. A fourth generation horseman on his father's side and a photojournalist on his mother's side, Carlos' artistic endeavors were predetermined at an early age.
About five years ago, Mr. Eduardo finally had the confidence to publicly display his work for the first time. He entered several ArtsUnited art exhibits and sought galleries to display and market his art. He was pleasantly surprised and encouraged by the reception. If asked, Carlos will tell you that what makes his photography different is his desire to capture light in a thought provoking and inspirational way.
The exhibit will open with a reception to meet the artist on April 3rd from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. Refreshments will be served, and admission is free to the public. For more information, call ArtsUnited at 954-530-2723. For more information about the artist Carlos Eduardo, go to www.carloseduardophotos.com.
