United and Proud 2011 was pleased to partner with the Pride Center at Equality Park. The great space at the Center enabled the artists’ work to be viewed by more than 2500 people over the course of the show. The United and Proud show featured almost 45 pieces by 25 artists. The show was judged this year by Onajide Shabaka, an artist and editor of www.miamiartexchange.com. The Best of Show cash prize was sponsored by BankUnited. Thank you to the Pride Center and our artists for a great 2011 show.
